10:00 AM - 2:00 PM  Each Day.  

This virtual course is 8 hours spread across two days.  (Attendance is required each day to earn ADMEI's Emergency Preparedness Certificate.)  ADMEI's Emergency Preparedness Certificate Program (EPCP) is developed in collaboration with global leaders in security, intelligence, training, medicine, and investigative services. 

Throughout the course, attendees participate in group exercises encouraging problem-solving from different industry perspectives. Sessions include Emergency Planning, Risk Assessment, Medical Duty of Care, Risk Mitigation. In addition, attendees receive a variety of tools/handouts to customize for their use.

Dan Hooton, Managing Director
Spearfish

Dan originally set up Spearfish in 2009 and is responsible for the overall management of Spearfish as well as leading the team, ensuring consistent delivery from proposal to execution of task.

After 10 years in the Royal Navy, Dan became the Group Head of Security for Prudential, responsible for the physical security and well-being of over 20,000 employees worldwide. He has a Master’s Degree in Corporate Security and Risk Management.

Dan has been leading ADMEI's EPCP virtual and in-person training courses since 2018.

Jonathan is the President and Founding Partner of Howe & Hutton, Ltd., a law firm with offices in Chicago, IL, McLean VA, and Washington, D.C.  Howe & Hutton, Ltd., representing clients worldwide, specializes in the complete representation of individuals, firms, and not-for-profit organizations, including trade associations, professional societies, and other related organizations.

Jonathan has written hundreds of articles, papers, and books, and has spoken to organizations all over the world on all manner of legal issues.  He served as general counsel emeritus for Meetings Professionals International and general counsel for the prestigious Association Committee of 100 sponsored by the US Chamber of Commerce. He is a founder, past President, and board member of the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys.  He was most recently recognized as the only lawyer named to the Events Industry Council’s “Hall of Leaders.”


     
ADMEI is a CMP Preferred Provider. This program earns 8 CMP Preferred Provider credit hours

Each participant receives a certificate that can be used for DMCP application or recertification.
