Seeking organized, detail-orieted individual with an association / hospitality gene!

The Marketing & Membership Coordinator is responsible for promoting ADMEI’s programs and member services. This individual will manage ADMEI’s communications, membership recruitment, and engagement efforts while contributing to the success of ADMEI program events.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in marketing and member relations, with a preference for candidates familiar with association or non-profit work.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns to promote ADMEI events, certifications, and membership benefits.
  • Create engaging and targeted content for social media, newsletters, press releases, and the ADMEI website.
  • Track and report on the performance of digital marketing efforts, providing insights to enhance future campaigns.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for design, website updates, and communications tools.

Membership Development & Engagement

  • Oversee membership recruitment, onboarding, and renewal processes, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for members.
  • Maintain accurate member data and support member engagement through targeted outreach and personalized follow-up.
  • Monitor and report on membership trends, developing strategies to increase retention and satisfaction.
  • Respond to member inquiries in a timely and helpful manner. 

Event Support

  • Assist in marketing and promoting ADMEI’s events, such as webinars, conferences, and award programs.
  • Support sponsorship development and attendee engagement campaigns.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support during events, including on-site support as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, membership coordination, or communications (association or non-profit experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact, MailChimp, Canva) and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Experience with CRM or membership management software.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in non-profit / association management.
  • Knowledge of hospitality, tourism, or destination management industries.
  • Familiarity with working alongside volunteer boards or committees.
